Less than a week removed from welcoming nearly 1,000 people over a two-day period, Park Theater management is bracing for another big weekend as Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers will perform Friday, March 13 followed by Journey from the Heart Saturday, March 14.

Last weekend's shows were a hit with a sold-out crowd filling the historic venue for Lary Fleet on Friday and another large crowd filing in the next night for Rhiannon: The Stevie Nicks Experience. This weekend, the theater will continue that momentum with another busy two-day period.

Friday night will see the Park debut of five-time Grammy winner Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers. Wooten, a founding member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, is well known to music aficionados. He is the three-time winner of the Bass Player of the Year award from Bass Player magazine, making him the first to win the award multiple times. Rolling Stone readers voted him into the Top 10 Bassists of All Time. Wooten, along with his talented brothers Regi, Roy and Joseph, will take the Park stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

"Our season is really starting to heat up," Park Theater Manager Joe Harvey said. "Last weekend was great with a sell out Friday and another great crowd Saturday. Now we're looking forward to this weekend's shows. Victor Wooten and his brothers are absolute legends, and Journey from the Heart is an annual favorite for our crowd."

Saturday night, the focus turns to the music of Journey and Heart with Journey from the Heart. Led by the powerful vocals of Ryan Christopher and Shareen Ann, the band has previously appeared at the Park and is always a crowd pleaser, merging the music of the two super groups into one big show.

Tickets for Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers start at $30 plus tax while Journey from the Heart tickets begin at $25 plus tax. Tickets for both shows are available at mcminnvilleparktheater.com/tickets and the door while supplies last.
