Sunday, Sept. 27, will be the last day Bath & Body Works in Three Star Mall will be open for a while, but fret not fans of candles, soaps and all things that smell nice.

The closure will be brief and for a good reason. Bath & Body Works management has announced the store will close at 6 p.m. Sunday and will not reopen until Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. The five-day closure will allow for a much-needed renovation to the store’s flooring.

“We’re super excited about the company investing in our future by doing some small updates to the store flooring,” store manager Nedra Davenport Black said. “This has not been updated since we opened 26 years ago in Three Star Mall.”
