BLC adds wireless service

A trusted local name in communications is adding another offering to its already expansive selection of services.

Ben Lomand Connect recently launched Trilight Mobile, a wireless service for both residential and business customers. Developed through a partnership of telecommunications across Tennessee including BLC, Trilight Mobile provides access to nationwide 5G networks while allowing customers to deal with familiar faces at their local cooperative for all their mobile needs. Trilight Mobile further expands BLC's services which include Managed IT services for businesses, BLTV video service, Ben Lomand Security, Ben Lomand Home managed Wi-Fi and Secure Everywhere mobile medical security.

Customers can sign up for Trilight Mobile online. For those concerned about the perceived hassle of changing mobile providers, BLC is making the process as worry-free as possible. Users may keep their existing phone number and device or choose to upgrade to a new phone.

A limited selection of iPhone and Samsung phones is available at Trilight Mobile kiosks in BLC offices in McMinnville, Sparta, Crossville and Tracy City with a much wider selection available on the Ben Lomand Connect website. Phones can be ordered online and shipped directly to the customer. Mobile service will also be available at the new Manchester BLC office when it opens in late 2026 or early 2027.

For those who want their cellphone experience to stay on the simpler side, BLC offers a flip-phone option without smartphone capabilities. As a launch special, eligible customers may receive their first line free for one year.
