Blood drive at Main Street Media Friday

Blood Assurance is offering the community another chance to give to others while pocketing a little something for themselves Friday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Main Street Media.

The Blood Assurance bus is set up in the parking lot at 230 W. Colville St. in an attempt to help replenish the blood supply which is used locally to help trauma patients, cancer patients, premature babies and others in need of blood. To further appeal to potential donors, Blood Assurance is offering a $25 e-gift card to all who give blood Friday.

Donors are advised to eat a good meal, drink additional water and avoid energy drinks before giving blood. Appointments can be made online, by calling 800 962-0628 or texting BAGIVE to 999777. Walk-ins are also welcome.
