Card show returns to Charlie Dalton Gym

Upper Cumberland Cards is bringing its monthly card show back to Warren County High School this weekend, and collectors will not be the only ones taking center stage inside Charlie Dalton Gymnasium.

The Upper Cumberland Cards show will return Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a day of buying, selling and trading while also benefiting WCHS athletics. The McMinnville show is held on the second Saturday of each month and features approximately 100 tables packed with sports and Pokémon cards, memorabilia and other collectibles, including toys and comics.

Saturday’s event will also feature a local sports connection with Main Street Media hosting a live coaches show from 10 a.m. to noon. WCMS football coach Ben Matheney and WCMS basketball coach Isaiah Grayson will host the two-hour show, which will be streamed live on the Main Street Journal Facebook page.

WCHS head football coach Eric Belew and several Pioneer football players are scheduled to appear Saturday, giving fans attending the card show, or watching from home, a chance to hear from the team during the early portion of its 2026 season.

The coaches show will not be limited to this weekend. Main Street Media’s show is set to be featured at each monthly Upper Cumberland Cards event at WCHS, bringing coaches, athletes and other local sports figures into the mix alongside the collectors and dealers.

Upper Cumberland Cards hosts shows at three Tennessee locations, including McMinnville, Cookeville and Knoxville. The McMinnville event returns to WCHS on the second Saturday of each month, with additional 2026 shows scheduled for Oct. 10 and Nov. 14. No shows are scheduled at any location in December.

Along with the tables of cards and collectibles, Saturday’s show will feature giveaways and a food truck. Admission is $1, with proceeds from the McMinnville event benefiting WCHS athletics.
