The Hernandez family was among the visitors Saturday at the annual Food & Raiment Day at Central Church of Christ.   

Every year on a Saturday in early fall Central invites members of the community to shop their well-stocked clothing recycling center and enjoy a soup-sandwich-dessert lunch, all at no charge.  

The garment distribution is available every Thursday, 9 - 11 a.m., except on the third Thursday of the month. On that day, the church offers a half-hour of basic Bible study starting at 5:30 p.m., with a free hot meal from 6 until 7 in the benevolence annex on the east side of the Central auditorium.  Nearby parking is on the church lot just off North Spring Street, with entrance to the annex just a few steps away.
