McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clarence Garrett Henry, 85, was born Nov. 30, 1940 and died July 17, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, retired HVAC technician with Southeastern Energy Contractors and retired supervisor with Century Electric, he was the son of the late Alvie Clarence and Martha Eloise Coffelt Henry. He was married to Robbie Sue Gann Henry on Dec. 27, 1964 who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Henry, Larry “Butch” Henry and Harold Henry and brothers-in-law, Mike Gann and Bobby Gann.

Mr. Henry is survived by sons, Gary (Tonya) Henry of Murfreesboro and Rodney Henry of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Sheena (Jeremiah) Warner, Matthew (Amanda) Henry, Joshua Henry, Zoye Henry and Mia Henry; sister-in-law, Ann Henry, Pat (Ken) Lea, Johnnie Ruth (Ed) Sanders, Teresa Gann and Rhonda Gann and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Mickey Ralph, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
