Motorists will face temporary closures on two Warren County roads over the next several days as crews install and replace culverts.

Old Shellsford Road will close at the intersection of Bottoms Road on Thursday, Oct. 8, while crews install a new cross culvert. The work is expected to take one full day, with the road reopening that afternoon once installation is complete.

Another closure will begin Monday, Oct. 12, on Cooper Road, where crews will replace a box culvert.

Cooper Road will be closed to through traffic between Doyle Frazier Road and Jacksboro Road beginning at 6 a.m.

Officials did not provide an estimated completion date for the Cooper Road project, saying the work will be finished as soon as possible.

Motorists who regularly use either area should plan for alternate routes while the work is underway.
