County Mayor Allen Foster Presented With Award Recognizing Cumberland County tnAchieves Mentors

County Mayor Allen Foster welcomed the tnAchieves Prosperity Tour Monday morning at TCAT Upper Cumberland in Crossville.

Mayor Foster was presented with an award for Cumberland County recognizing our mentors and community for going above and beyond for our students.

Mayor Foster reports that Cumberland County tnAchieves students have a 59% three-year graduation rate, which is believed to be the highest in the state.

Cumberland County has had 539 graduates, and our students have completed more than 43,000 hours of community service.

Mayor Foster says Cumberland County still needs 38 mentors for the next group of students.
