Resurfacing work on I-40 in Cumberland County will begin Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 7 p.m. from mile marker 306 to mile marker 311. Work will occur nightly Sunday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 a.m. Motorist should use caution along the project route.
