The Military Memorial Museum of Upper Cumberland, in conjunction with the Palace Theatre and Project 250, is sponsoring the 1941 award-winning movie “Sergeant York”, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
As an added special touch, Lindsey Wood, the Museum Curator at the Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park, will be presenting “The Sergeant in the Spotlight:, a “myth-busting” presentation about the movie.
Doors will open at 4 p.m., the special presentation begins at 4:30, followed by a brief intermission and the movie will follow at 6 p.m.
Admission is FREE - but seating is limited. So arrive early for best seating.
