My name is Kathryn Passons Adcock. In 2018 and 2022, you trusted me to be your White County Trustee. I am again asking for your vote on August 6, 2026, as I seek reelection.
A lifelong resident of White County, I feel fortunate to have grown up on a farm in the Hickory Valley community, where I learned to value hard work, to have compassion for others, and to cherish the closeness of family. Many of the Christian values that have shaped me to be the person I am were instilled in me at an early age by family and friends in the community.
My formal education began at Doyle Elementary School, where I was both influenced and inspired by caring teachers. I attended middle school and high school in White County and then majored in education at TTU. After graduating in 1993, I taught at White County Middle School for 25 years before seeking the office of White County Trustee.
I am married to Jerry Adcock, and we have lived in the Cassville community for 30 years. We have one son, Rob, an electrician, who is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Ashlyn, and will get married in May 2026.
For anyone new to White County or anyone who may not be familiar with the responsibilities of the Trustee’s office, in addition to collecting county property taxes and maintaining records of tax payments, this office receives and disburses funds for the operation of general government departments in White County. Also, I try to make sure all qualified taxpayers are aware of the income-based tax relief program which is funded by the state of Tennessee for those 65 and older, for the disabled, and for veterans who are 100% disabled.
I appreciate the trust this wonderful community has placed in me. I pledge to continue to serve White County to the best of my ability as Trustee.
