One person was killed Monday (Aug. 10, 2026) in a wreck on Highway 70 East in Cumberland County near Renegade.

According to the THP, 20-year-old Julian Wilson was driving a Honda CRV eastbound on US Highway 70 East when the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane then over-corrected back into the eastbound lane.  The Honda continued off the right shoulder, colliding into a line of trees before coming to a final rest upright on its front bumper.

Wilson was fatally injured.
