Blood drive at MSM June 26
It's time to roll up your sleeves and make a lifesaving donation.
Main Street Media is partnering with Blood Assurance to host a community blood drive Thursday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The donation center will be at the Main Street Media offices at 230 W. Colville St.
Donors are asked to eat a good meal beforehand, drink plenty of water, and avoid energy drinks.
As an added incentive this month, all donors in June will receive a $20 eGift card, which will be sent to the email address on file with Blood Assurance. Those donating type O blood or type AB plasma will receive $25 cards.
To save time on the day of the drive, participants can complete their health history in advance by visiting bloodassurance.org/quickscreen or using the BA QuickScreen app. Appointments can be scheduled online to help the event run smoothly.
Blood Assurance reminds potential donors that their contributions are vital to helping patients in need across the region, as every donation can help save lives and make a difference in the community. Those who are unable to donate Thursday are encouraged to support future drives or help spread the word.
