Going up

As the Main Street Journal first reported on June 24, a new Dollar General is coming to the 1001 Sparta St. site of the former Dollar General which was destroyed by a fire, ruled arson, in April 2025.

Owned by Turner and Associates, the new store is going up fast with work on the roof continuing Wednesday morning. No official opening date has been reported at this time.
