McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Hattie Ruth Adcock, age 89, was born May 14, 1937 and died June 25, 2026 at her residence following a brief illness.

Mrs. Adcock was a homemaker and a member of Earleyville Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Earline Fisher Bandy. She was married to Jimmy Adcock on June 1, 1957, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Ronnie Darrell Adcock and Steve Lynn Adcock; daughter-in-law, Peggy Lynn Adcock; brothers, Jr, James and Orville Bandy; sister, Louise Judkins and grandson, Coty Adcock.

She is survived by children, Jimmy Adcock and Richard (Sherry) Adcock both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Shaun (Patricia) Adcock, Calan Adcock, Brandon (Kala) Adcock, Patrick (Sloan) Adcock, Daniel (Taylor) Judkins, Brooklynn Adcock, Jarrett Adcock, Justin (Tristan) Adcock, Jordan (Austin) Elwell and Alan (Hillary) Adcock; twenty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Jackie Matheny, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
