Lake Tansi Police Chief Resigns

Lake Tansi Police Chief Keanan Austin resigned last week.

In a statement on Facebook, the Lake Tansi POA thanked Keanan “for his years of service and for helping to guide the Department through its transition and rebuilding after changes in the Tennessee certification requirements resulted in the Lake Tansi Police Department having to establish itself as a new police force.”

Sergeant Jennie Phillips will serve as interim Lake Tansi Police Chief until a permanent replacement is named.
