Louella Gunter, 91

McMinnville resident and Scott County, Tenn. native Louella Gunter, 91, was born July 11, 1944 and died May 18, 2026 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.

A retired employee of Mallory Timers, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Opal Wilson. She was married to Richard Arthel Gunter who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and, she was preceded in death by son, Jimmy Dewayne Gunter; granddaughter, Tammy Dawn Gunter and four siblings, Novella Gunnels, June McKinney, Eddie Wilson and Ray Wilson.

Mrs. Gunter is survived by son, Allen (Vicky) Gunter of Lyles, Tenn.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six siblings, Joe Wilson, Louise Young, Sue Bowling, Kay Wilson, Gary Wilson and Cheryl Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, Mrs. Gunter will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
