WBMC Mother’s Day promotion celebrates moms, local businesses
This Mother’s Day, WBMC is celebrating moms with a heartfelt and humorous promotion called “Mom’s The Word.” Running the week of May 5–9, listeners are invited to submit the funniest, most heartwarming, or most “mom” thing their mom ever said or did via WBMC’s Facebook page. Select entries will be featured live during the Town Talk show each weekday morning.
Each day, at 7:45 a.m. WBMC Town Talk host Raven Young will choose a daily winner to receive a $25 gift certificate from a local business, with all winners entered in the drawing for a grand prize.

- Tuesday, May 6: $25 gift certificate from Alexis J. Studio
- Wednesday, May 7: $25 gift certificate from Chantilly Boutique

- Friday, May 9: $25 gift certificate from Mike’s McMinnville Florist
On Friday, May 9, at 8:55 a.m., one lucky winner from the daily winners will be selected to win the grand prize package - four passes to Dollywood and Splash Country, including tasting and dining passes.
