Nature Together, a Tennessee nonprofit founded by Summer Owen and her husband, provides free, nature-based wellness programs in the Upper Cumberland and Greater Nashville areas. The organization began offering programs in 2024.

Participants meet through a six-week program series held four times a year, with pop-up community events offered throughout the year. Every program is free to participants.

“We don't just open a trail and hope people show up,” Owen said. “We bring the people, the guides, the plan, and the community, and we build it around folks who often get left out of outdoor spaces.”

The organization offers six different groups designed around specific communities: Clovers for the IDD community, Magnolias for seniors, Tulips for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in partnership with advocacy organizations, Daisies for homeschool families, Lilies for expecting and postpartum families, and Wildflowers, which is open to everyone.
