A McMinnville man previously charged in a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children case has been arrested again, this time on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Eddie Dwight Pease Jr., 32, was booked into the Warren County Jail Monday, April 27, according to Warren County Sheriff’s Office booking information. Pease is charged with failure to register/sexual offender and is being held on a $50,000 bond. His court date is listed for Thursday, April 30, at 8:30 a.m.

The new charge comes more than two years after Pease was arrested in a TBI investigation involving allegations of online sexual conversations with minors. In November 2023, TBI announced Pease had been charged with soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means, following a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

According to the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, Pease is listed as a registered offender stemming from that case. The registry also reflects prior violations related to sex offender registration requirements, including a probation violation and registration-related offense in 2024, charges to which Pease pleaded guilty.

Details surrounding the latest arrest were not immediately available Monday. Warrants had not yet been obtained by the Main Street Journal as of publication, although requests for official documents have been made with the Department of Probation and Parole and the Warren County Courthouse.

More details will be released as they become available. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
