Praise at the Park

Friday night was a night of worship and fundraising at the Park Theater as Young Men United held a Gospel Celebration.

Moderated by Pastor Michael Harris, the night featured singing by a variety of groups including The Crown of Jewels, North Hills Church of God of Prophecy Praise Team, Friendship’s Worship Praise Team, Living Word Fellowship Praise Team, Three Chords Worship Praise Team and gospel singer Sam Sampson.

The event was designed to help Young Men United work towards its ultimate goal of raising $100,000 to replace the gym floor at Bernard Gym. The gym, formerly part of Bernard School, serves as the headquarters for Young Men United in its quest to provide a safe and positive place for area youth.
