Rhea County Sheriff Mike Neal Retires

Rhea County Sheriff Mike Neal has retired after more than two decades of service. 

Sheriff Neal began his tenure as Sheriff on September 1, 2002 and the Department expresses sincere gratitude for his dedication, sacrifices, leadership, and many accomplishments. 

Chief Deputy John Argo won the race in August to succeed Neal as sheriff.
