River Park brings advanced CT imaging to McMinnville

Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital is enhancing local patient care with a next-generation CT scanner.

As one of the first hospitals in Middle Tennessee to offer this advanced system, Saint Thomas River Park provides patients with access to faster, clearer diagnostic imaging right in their community.

The system advances cardiac imaging by capturing clear images of the heart in as little as half a second. This rapid speed minimizes motion blur caused by fast or irregular heartbeats, giving physicians more reliable images that can help detect blocked arteries, evaluate stents or bypass grafts, and guide critical interventions.
The technology also supports complex diagnostic care across oncology, neurology, orthopedics and pulmonology.

Patients can benefit from detailed imaging with reduced radiation exposure. Integrated machine learning helps support clinician workflows by reducing scan variability and automatically adjusting settings based on each patient, helping make exams more efficient and comfortable.
