Shirley Lynn Cherry, 83

McMinnville resident and Covington, Kent. native Shirley Lynn Cherry, 83, was born Feb. 17, 1943 and died Oct. 2, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

A retired employee of Save-A-Lot Grocery store and enjoyed home life, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Talent Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank Huston Cherry; son: Frank Glenn Cherry, brother, Jack Hall; sisters, Jo Sue Couch and Linda Hall and granddaughter, Lynette Cherry.

Mrs. Cherry is survived by sons, Gary (Joyce) Cherry and Greg (Doris) Cherry both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jared (Katelynn) Cherry of McMinnville, Telia (Keith) Carter of Smithville, April (Tyler) Miller of Grundy Co., Destiny Cherry of McMinnville, ShayLa (John David) Hankins of McMinnville and Bridgett (Brandon) Owen of McMinnville; several great-grandchildren and sisters, Debbie Ann Hall and Elaine Hall both of Ohio.

Per her wishes, Mrs. Cherry will be cremated.
