Walking into Surprise Stop feels a little like opening a mystery box. One trip might lead shoppers to discounted electronics and household items. Another could uncover Harley-Davidson-themed gnomes, backpacks, seasonal décor, or unexpected bargain finds stacked across the shelves.

For owner Jeremiah Davis, that unpredictability is part of the fun.

“We sell a little bit of everything,” Davis said.

The Sparta business, located at 656 Roosevelt Drive, opened in October 2025 with a simple idea: create a family-run store where local shoppers could find good deals without driving out of town or paying big retail prices. The inventory comes from warehouse and liquidation skids purchased from companies like Amazon, Target, and other major retailers, meaning the merchandise is constantly changing.
