Smiles and sweet treats have been rolling through Sparta and White County since June 11, 2026, thanks to The Ice Cream Lady. Owned and operated by Amelia Rector, the mobile ice cream truck serves more than 30 varieties of pre-packaged ice cream at neighborhoods, community events, schools, and private parties.
Rector said the idea came from her own excitement as a child whenever she heard the music of an approaching ice cream truck.
