Thomas Wayne Simmons, 85

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Thomas Wayne Simmons, 85, was born Sept. 30, 1940 and died Dec. 24, 2025 at Fannie B's Manor following an extended illness.

A retired precision machinist with A.O. Smith and member of Grace Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, he was the son of the late A.J. and Mary Frances Haynie Simmons.  He was married to Judy M. West Simmons who also preceded him in death.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Dishman.

Mr. Simmons is survived by a son, Dale (Lisa) Simmons of McMinnville;  daughter, Angela Gail Bouldin of McMinnville;  seven grandchildren;  eleven great-grandchildren;  step-son, Stacy (Angela) Moore of McMinnville;  step-daughter, Paula Demetrish Brabson of McMinnville;  two brothers, James Kenneth (Patricia) Simmons and Robert Simmons both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.  

Per Mr. Simmons' wishes, he was cremated and no services will be held.
