Jason Wilburn, who manages the fertilizer sales operation at Warren Farmers Co-op, displays some of the ammonium nitrate and potash mix just before the delivery truck, driven by Mark Killian, heads toward a local farm. The Co-op custom blends the major ingredients needed for specific growing conditions and crops. Those formulations are scientifically calibrated to soil chemistry as determined from samples that can be processed through Tennessee Agriculture Extension offices.
