It won't be long until the schools are filled up in Warren County.

The 2025-26 school year for Warren County Schools begins with registration on Friday, August 1 - an abbreviated day from 7:45-9:45 a.m. - followed by the first official day of classes Tuesday, August 5. Families should note that school will not be in session Monday, August 4, and again on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day.

Another early break comes Friday, September 12, for Fair Day.

Fall Break is scheduled for the week of October 6-10, offering students their first extended break. October also includes a professional development day on the 13th, with no students reporting, and a series of parent/teacher conferences throughout early November. Thanksgiving Break will stretch from November 24-28, giving students a full week off before returning to finish the semester in December. The first semester officially ends after a shortened day on Friday, December 19 (7:45-9:45 a.m. with buses running).

Winter Break begins December 22 and extends through January 2, with students returning on January 6, 2026. Just before that, teachers will participate in a stockpiled professional development day January 5.

The second semester includes holidays such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 19, Presidents Day on February 16 and Good Friday on April 3. Spring Break is set for March 16-20.

As the year winds down, kindergarten and eighth grade graduation events are scheduled between May 7 and May 14, while high school seniors will walk the stage on Friday, May 15.

A final professional development day for teachers, with no students in attendance, is planned for May 21. The school year wraps up on May 22, which will be an abbreviated day, marking the official end of the second semester.
