Sparta's star senior honored with the Mid Season Player of the Year for Middle Tennessee
White County's Gracie Clark continues to have an excellent senior season with another accolade to add to her resume.
On Friday afternoon Clark was named TSSAA Mid Season Player of the Year in the middle Tennessee area beating out stiff competition in the likes of Cara Lee Gilbert of Cookeville, Jules Ferrell of MTCS, McLayne Bobo of Tullahoma and more.
Clark won the award by obtaining over 66,000 votes, 3,000 votes more than second place.
Clark leads WCHS in a variety of categories including points per game (15.6), field goal percentage with 51%, steals per game with 3.3, and an outstanding free throw percentage of 84 percent. Clark has the most points of any Warriorette so far this season with 327; the next Warriorette close to her is Bella Winningham with 248.
There is plenty of basketball left for the 2025-26 season, which is great news for White County fans as long as Gracie Clark is wearing the #13 jersey for the Warriorettes.
