The final regular season home game for the White County Warriorettes was also the last district game before the postseason begins. Sparta welcomed the Livingston Academy Wildcats to a pink-filled Roy as the team and fans honored cancer warriors Friday night.
A huge second quarter from the Warriorettes, including a suffocating defense, would lead them to a 64–40 win over the Lady Wildcats. That second eight-minute framer is where Sparta made their mark, outscoring L.A. 24-7 in that period alone.
