Crossville
A 37-year-old woman was severely injured at Duer Soccer Complex Saturday night (9/26/2026) when she was hit by a vehicle and pinned against another vehicle. Crossville Police report the victim, from Clarksville, Tennessee, suffered a fractured femur and had to be flown from the scene of the crash by helicopter.
Nineteen-year-old Sibia Abigail Tomas-Lopez, of Cookeville, told Police she did not see the victim when she put her vehicle in reverse. According to reports, Tomas-Lopez was booked into the Cumberland County Jail for Vehicular Assault, Underage Driving While Impaired, Underage Consumption of Alcohol, Driving Without a Driver’s License, and No Proof of Insurance.
Her passenger, 20-year-old Victor Manuel Flores, of Cookeville, was also transported to jail for DUI, Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Tampering With Evidence.
Both suspects have November 2, 2026 court dates.
