A White County woman was watching television when she said a side door to her home suddenly began moving violently, as though someone was trying to get inside.
Her husband, who had gone outside to cover their boat, walked around the house to investigate and found a man standing at the top of the steps. He went back inside, retrieved a pistol, and returned to confront him while his wife called 911.
