The 40th annual Junior Auxiliary Christmas in the Park warmed hearts and chilled fingers and toes as below-freezing temperatures made bundling up a necessity Tuesday night. A large crowd braved the cold nonetheless to take part in the Warren County holiday tradition held in downtown McMinnville.

With Huff & Puff Trucking‘s Polar Express providing a backdrop of “snow,” several activities were scattered up and down Main Street, including ornament making, phone calls to the North Pole and free hot chocolate. Entertainment was provided by local singers and dance groups.

One of the main attractions of the evening was found in the climate-controlled comfort of the Park Theater as Santa Claus was accompanied by 2025 Warren County Fairest of the Fair Annabella Culwell as he greeted approximately 150 children on the theater’s stage throughout the night.

The event is an annual service project of Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville, a civic organization focused on supporting the community’s youth.
