A driver who authorities say was the subject of a multi-county BOLO came to a stop on a White County roadway Wednesday night only after traveling nearly a mile with law enforcement behind him, according to an affidavit filed in General Sessions Court.
According to the warrant, the incident began around 9:39 p.m. on July 8, when a White County Sheriff's Office deputy was notified of a BOLO issued by Cumberland County for a white Ford F-250. Authorities had reportedly been advised the driver had left the scene of a domestic-related incident, was believed to be intoxicated, and might be armed with a handgun.
