McMinnville resident and Murfreesboro native Brandon Black, 45, was born May 19, 1980 and died Jan. 16, 2026 at his residence following a sudden illness.
The owner of Data Solutions, he was the son of James and Patsy Judkins Black, both of McMinnville.
Mr. Black was preceded in death by grandparents, Nelson and Lounette Judkins and Mason and Janie Black; aunt, Mary Beth Judkins; uncle, Terry Black; cousin, Cory Judkins and numerous other cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Taven Black (Brooklyn Cope) and Berkley Black, both of McMinnville; aunts, Margaret Judkins (Caleb Pollitt) of Cookville and Christy (Ray) Talbert of McMinnville; uncles, Gary (Sheri) Judkins, Larry (Phyllis) Judkins and Tony Black, all of McMinnville; several cousins and other family members.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Donald Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
