BREAKING: White County denies firing 86-year-old worker amid medical emergency controversy

UPDATE: MSJ- Sparta spoke with Frazier on Friday afternoon to fill in the blanks in this ongoing story.  

“I’ve been there 15 years, and have been working 23 hours a week at the same location,” Frazier explained. “Two weeks ago, my wife got sick and I asked another employee to fill in for me indefinitely because I didn’t know what she was going to need.” 

However, on Monday, there was some miscommunication between Frazier and the other employee which resulted in the shift being uncovered. Frazier went to the hospital to be with his wife, but the other employee misunderstood and thought he was coming in to work.
