Centertown Community resident and Littleton, N.H. native Brian David Woods, 78, was born March 7, 1947 and died October 3, 2025 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following a sudden illness.

Mr. Woods was a retired Aerospace Propulsion and Rocket Engineering Supervisor with AEDC, member of the Centertown Church of Christ and the son of the late John and Careen Gray Woods.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn Kaye Woods.  

He was married to Bettye Bouldin Woods of the Centertown Community.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Brian Woods, II of Kennewick, WA., Christopher (Kristin) Woods of Wasilla, AK and Kimberly Woods and Debie Hartl both of McMinnville;  seven grandchildren, Patrick Odineal, Matthew Odineal, Dylan Hartl, Brianna Hartl, Helen Hartl, Dalton Hartl and Paul Woods;  four great-grandchildren;  brother, Carrol (Donna "Cookie") Woods of Irving, TX;  sister, Judith Templeton Hackworth of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 in High's Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Centertown Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and noon until time of service Monday at High's. Full military honors will be administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
