Warren County native and resident Charles Harris Couch, 94, was born Sept. 12, 1931 and died May 29, 2026 at his residence following an extended illness.

A United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a retired Taxi Driver with Lentz CB and a member of Berea Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Firm Franklin and Mattie Evelyn Webb Couch. He was married to Clara Roberta Bost Couch on December 27, 1954 who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Tramel and brother, Dorris Edward Couch.

Mr. Couch is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Judy Couch of McMinnville; sister, Jewel Dean Staton of McMinnville; nieces, Brenda Cagle, Patricia Adams, Karen (Ronnie) Bechtel and Angela Greene; nephew, Anthony (Misty) Couch; special cousins, Larry Couch, Carroll (Robert) Clem, Arnold Couch as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Richard Bowman and Tim Long officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 3 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
