Crossville
The US 127/SR 28 bridge over Clear Creek is now OPEN. The 1,425 ft. bridge serves as an important connection between Crossville and Jamestown . TDOT says that while some work continues, including roadway texture coating and the installation of sod for stabilization, traffic is driving on the new alignment.
This is a part of Phase 2 of a much larger US 127/SR 28 improvement and widening project. Two segments, those from near Lowe Road to near Little Road spanning the Cumberland-Fentress county line and from north of I-40 to near Potato Farm Road, are expected to be complete this fall.
