- The annual McGee Reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 23, beginning around noon at the Shellsford Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 121 Bottoms Rd. Family members are asked to bring a covered dish, photos and other family memorabilia to share. Additional updates are available through the McGee Reunion News Facebook page.
- The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for BoostBrandz on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chamber Community Room at 110 S Court Sq.
- Main Street McMinnville will host its annual Farm-to-Table Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion on 100 Market St. The event will feature locally grown ingredients prepared by local small businesses, with proceeds supporting the preservation of historic downtown McMinnville. Tickets are available at mainstreetmcminnville.org/farm-to-table/.
- The Warren County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Sept. 7, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St.
- The Warren County Memorial Airport meeting will take place on Monday, Sept, 7 at 6 p.m. at its location on 48 Airport Dr.
- A Sexual Assault Support Group will meet Thursday, Sept. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Families in Crisis, 101 W. Main St. Survivors are invited to a supportive group focused on healing, building self-esteem and developing coping skills in a safe, welcoming environment. - The Warren County Master Gardeners' Association will meet Thursday, Sept. 17, from 6-8 p.m. Summer meetings are held at the Warren County Fairgrounds, while meetings during the remainder of the year are held in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St. Anyone who has completed the Master Gardener course is eligible to join. - The Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will meet Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Early Voting Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St in McMinnville.
- The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Community Connections Golf Classic will be held Monday, Sept. 21, at 616 Country Club Dr. The event costs $425 per team, which includes lunch, red tee and mulligans. Prizes will be awarded to winners, along with contests for straightest drive and closest to the pin. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. - Bybee Branch Church of Christ will host its Stringing Pearls of Wisdom Women's Day Gathering on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 1165 Old Smithville Rd. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. Speaker Denice Rhea will lead the event, and lunch will be provided following the program. Ladies from the community are invited to attend.
- Heavenly Closet Thrift Store is open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 100 Market St, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The organization’s soup kitchen is open Mondays and Fridays, from 11:30 a.m. until noon each day, at 218 E Main St. Proceeds from the thrift store fund the soup kitchen’s efforts. Volunteers and donations are always accepted. The group is part of the “Helping Hands” ministry.
