
· Main Street Live!, the local concert series sponsored by Main Street McMinnville, will return to the west lawn beside Security Federal Friday, July 18, at 7 p.m. with ’90s tribute band “Saved By the Music.” The series provides free concerts on the west lawn of Security Federal throughout June and July, with vendors opening at 6 p.m. before the show begins. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
· Wesley Chapel will hold its annual Homecoming celebration Saturday, July 12, to raise funds for cemetery maintenance. The day begins with a business meeting at 11 a.m. and features guest speaker Greta Dajani, lunch, live music, an auction and homemade ice cream. · The Warren County Master Gardeners’ Association will meet Thursday, July 17, at 6 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The WCMGA meets the third Thursday of each month, gathering at the fairgrounds during summer months and at the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administration Building during the rest of the year. · The Warren County Republican Party will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, July 17, from 6-7 p.m. in the early voting room of the Warren County Administration Building on Locust St. The group meets the third Thursday of each month to promote personal liberties and conservative values, as well as discuss and execute ideas to elect conservatives to local city and county government.
· The Warren County Genealogical Historical Association will hold its monthly meeting Saturday, July 19, from 2-4 p.m. at the County Administration Building at 201 Locust St. The WCGHS meets the third Saturday of each month offering a different program or speaker. · The dive-in movie “Moana 2” will be shown at the Gilley Pool Saturday, July 19, beginning at 8:15 p.m. The event is sponsored by Security Federal Savings Bank, and admission is free to the first 100 guests.
· The Viola Fire Department’s 2025 truck and tractor pull will be held Saturday, July 19, at 6 p.m. at 10301 Viola Rd. Multiple sanctioned and non-sanctioned classes will be competing, with proceeds benefiting the fire department’s efforts throughout the year. · Caring Hearts United’s monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, July 15, from 6-7 p.m. at 352 S. Chancery St., Suite 4. The group will not meet in September, November or December.
· The Pioneerette Princess Tea Party will be held Sunday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m. at the West Elementary Gym at 400 Clark Blvd. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite princess attire and join in for an afternoon of pampering, crafts, princesses and tea party snacks. Each princess will receive a crown, wand and goody bag, and will have a chance to meet their favorite princesses. Cost is $30 for early registration, and $35 the day of the event. · The Junior Auxiliary will hold a membership social Thursday, July 31, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Oh Sugar, located at 410 N. Chancery St. Sweets and light refreshments will be provided. Attendees will be able to apply to join the JA as they learn more about the group and its projects by speaking with members.

· Highlands Elite Real Estate will have an Ice Cream Day Friday, July 18, from 2-4 p.m. at 477 N. Chancery St. in McMinnville. Ice cream will be provided by Baskin-Robbins of Cookeville and Algood, and the first 100 visitors will receive a free scoop.
· The City of McMinnville will host a free short-term rental workshop on July 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. Designed for current and prospective hosts, the event will cover regulations, hospitality tips, and business strategies, supporting Warren County’s growing tourism sector and helping property owners enhance guest experiences and rental success.
· Heavenly Closet Thrift Store is open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 100 Market Street, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The organization’s soup kitchen is open Mondays and Fridays, from 11:30 a.m. until noon each day, at 218 E. Main St. Proceeds from the thrift store fund the soup kitchen’s efforts. Volunteers and donations are always accepted. The group is part of the “Helping Hands” ministry.
· “Stuff the Bus McMinnville,” a school supply drive sponsored by United Way of South Central Tennessee, will be held July 25-27, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Walmart at 915 S. Chancery St. Items needed include scissors, crayons, composition notebooks, hygiene items, index cards, pencil cases, erasers, tissues, lysol wipes, ziplock bags, backpacks, pencils, pens, markers, highlighters, colored pencils, headphones, earbuds, folders, binders, wide and college ruled paper, glue sticks, and graph paper.
