Cool treats and sweet deals

Keep your cool with the Main Street Journal this Friday, June 20, during its first-ever "Sundaes on a Friday" celebration.

From noon until 5 p.m., visitors to the Main Street Media offices at 230 W. Colville St. can cool off with free ice cream sundaes and take advantage of a special subscription offer.

Anyone who signs up for a one-year subscription to the Main Street Journal during the event will receive three months free, dropping the regular $84 annual rate to just $63. Main Street Media hopes the community takes advantage of Friday’s opportunity to sign up for local news and community coverage while enjoying a classic summertime treat.

“We're so happy with the reception MSJ has received so quickly after launching,” Journal Editor-in-Chief Rob Nunley said. “It’s only been three months, but we’ve stayed so busy it seems like we’ve been here forever. The community’s support and feedback has been amazing, and we want to say thanks to the people who have already joined us while inviting everyone else to take advantage of this special offer.
