Crossville
Crossville voters have rejected a ballot measure proposing the transfer of the city’s water production properties. Tuesday’s municipal referendum failed by an 18-point margin, with nearly 59 percent voting against the proposal and 41 percent in favor. With all ballots counted, more than 1,700 residents voted "No", keeping Crossville’s water assets and utility operations under the control of the city rather than a regional authority.
