Cumberland County Commission Passes Resolution To Demolish and Reconstruct Buildings at the Site of the Recent Fire

In major action during Monday’s Cumberland County Commission meeting, commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the demolition and reconstruction of buildings housing the Cumberland County Election Commission, Highway Department, and Maintenance Department. In other action, the commission unanimously approved the appointment of Amber Findley to a 2-year term as Judicial Commissioner, as well as approving a series of routine budget amendment resolutions covering county departments, emergency services, capital projects, and local schools.
