
Murfreesboro resident and White County native David Jeffrey Clark, 63, was born March 25, 1962 and passed suddenly on August 7, 2025 at his residence.
A retired employee of Daiei America Inc. and member of the former Clarks Chapel Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha Rosetta “Rose” Blaylock Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Joey Clark and brothers, Dale and Danny Clark.
He was married to Sheila Clark of Murfreesboro on July 10, 2020. In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by daughter, Ashley Raney of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Travon Raney and Kaimarii McCauley; niece and nephew, Darla (Shawn) Tollison and Dain (Ashlea) Clark; uncle and aunt, Joe and Bonnie Blaylock and several cousins.
Mr. Clark enjoyed playing the drums at his former church, coon hunting, rebuilding and racing classic muscle cars and riding motorcycles.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 at Friendship Cemetery in Warren County with Jason Brown officiating. No service or visitation will be held at High’s. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
