David “Tony” Jenkins, 69

McMinnville resident and Smith County native David “Tony” Jenkins, 69, was born July 10, 1956 and died Dec. 31, 2025 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following a sudden illness.

A employee of Yates Nissan in Decherd, Tenn., son of the late Jack and Leonar C. Woodard Jenkins. In additions to his parents he was preceded by son, David Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was married Oct. 10, 2010 to Linda Jenkins of McMinnville. In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Jennifer Fowler (Bill Hobbs) of Altamont, Tend. and Dustin (Miranda) Morris of Rock Island; grandchildren, Serenity Bivens (Cayden Newby), Donovan Fowler, LeeAnn Hobbs and Ellie Morris; great-granddaughter, Oakley Newby; brothers, Pete Jenkins of Knoxville and David (Linda) Bean of Lebanon.

Per his wishes, Mr. Jenkins will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
