Dorothy "Dot" Ruth Curtis, 88

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dorothy "Dot" Ruth Curtis, 88, was born May 13, 1937 and died Jan. 9, 2026 at Willow Branch in McMinnville following a brief illness. 

A retired plant manager with Washington Industries and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Orvil and Dillie Elkins Joines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ramond Ray Curtis; son, Ray Anthony "Tony" Curtis; brothers, Vernon Joines and Dorris Joines; sister, Opal Woodside and son-in-law, Doug Lott. 

Mrs. Curtis is survived by son, Tim (Janice) Curtis of Doyle; daughter, Karen Jo Lott of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jonathon Kent (Melody) Curtis, Melissa (Timothy) Lott-Summars, Ashlyn and Kiley Curtis, Kris (Tanya) Beckwith and several nieces and nephews. 

Per her wishes, Mrs. Curtis will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation held at High's.
