McMinnville resident and native Dortha Lou Myers, 74, was born Nov. 13, 1951 and died Aug. 13, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford following an extended illness. 

A former employee with Federal Mogul and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Lou Manus McDowell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James McDowell and nephew, Michael Farley. 

Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Myers of McMinnville; daughter, Betty (Steve) Reagan of McMinnville; grandchildren, Steven Reagan and Katie Reagan; great-grandchildren, Mason and Maverick Reagan; sister, Jennie (Paul) Farley of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Bill Myers and special nephew, Corey Farley. 

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 in High's Chapel. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
